Making business or money?

Hello! I suppose you have already got stoned with tons of bullshit slogans from everywhere around. Company growth, business development, lead generation, performance improvement, consistency in operations, etc.  I understand it very well, however it's still pretty hard for me to avoid such a 'moon talk' on a daily basis. Getting to the point without any fancy stuff I am just a manager, and I'm in charge of making things work. I like plans and the reality, I respect people and the rules of economy, but above this all I love to earn money in organic and balanced way, heading for a long-long-term goals. That's why I am asking you a question: Are you making business or are you making money?

I became interested in the field of business development long before my personal paradigm shift, which brought me to completely different experience path. I have trained Martial Arts for many years and been interested in fighting sports since a child. Finally I transformed my passion into professional experience, becoming an instructor of self-defence. During that time I managed to transform different concepts of management into the real commercial utilities and I found them universal for most of the organizations.
